Alex Minchin Short-Listed for Prestigious Young Business Person Award

Back in November 2013, we were proud to announce that Zest Digital’s Managing Director, Alex Minchin, was the winner of the Haines Watts Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for Oxfordshire and now we have more exciting news!

We are delighted to announce that Alex has now also been short-listed in the Top 3 for The Shaw Gibbs Young Business Person of the Year Award!

Alex started Zest Digital in 2010, aged 23 years old and working from home. In under four years Zest has developed in to a team of nine, based from an office in Bicester and covering all aspects of Digital Marketing and Web Design.

Since Zest was founded, Alex has been recognised in a national broadsheet for his cash flow strategies, having reduced average debtors by over 65% within two months. This enabled the recruitment of five new team members in a twelve month period and established Zest as a main player within the county.

Zest's attention to building a positive working atmosphere is openly shared with clients and peers, working towards individual and company goals, resulting in better results for clients and the company as a whole.

The Oxfordshire Business Awards have been "recognising, rewarding and promoting the excellence of Oxfordshire-based companies" for 20 years, and is organised and supported by 15 of the county’s leading organisations. The winners will be announced at the prestigious Awards Dinner on Friday 20th June at the Oxford Thames Four Pillars Hotel.

Alex describes being short-listed as "a really positive acknowledgement of the hard work we put in as a team, and our continuous drive to develop as a business, and as a partner to our clients".

We're up against some strong competition, so fingers crossed!
